Amanda Nesta, Associate Attorney

Amanda N. Nesta is an Associate Attorney at Christophillis & Gallivan, where she focuses her practice on family law. Since joining the firm in 2026, she has been dedicated to advocating for her clients while guiding them through some of life’s most complex and personal challenges.

Amanda’s practice encompasses all aspects of domestic litigation, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution of property, and adoption. She is known for tailoring her approach to each client’s goals and priorities. With a focus on empathy, clarity, and results, Amanda works to make the Family Court process as straightforward and manageable as possible. She takes pride in building lasting trust with her clients and providing thoughtful, individualized guidance for every family she represents.

Amanda is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the South Carolina Family Law American Inn of Court. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she completed the Children’s Law Concentration Program. During law school, she served as President of the Family Law Society, worked in the Domestic Violence Clinic, and volunteered as a Guardian ad Litem with the Department of Social Services. Prior to entering the legal profession, Amanda worked as a project manager for a global company, where she developed strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills that she now brings to her legal practice.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Amanda moved to Travelers Rest, South Carolina, at a young age. She now resides in Greenville with her husband, Simon, and their two dachshunds, Elmo and Beans. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts, playing mahjong, and spending time with friends and family.
