taylor anderson, Associate Attorney

Taylor Anderson is an Associate Attorney at Christophillis & Gallivan, where she focuses her practice on family law and child advocacy. Taylor’s practice consists of serving as a Guardian ad Litem for the court in contested actions, as well as advocating for clients in the areas of divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and equitable distribution of property.

Taylor is particularly passionate about advocating for children and serving as a thoughtful, trusted voice in the courtroom. Known for her ability to connect with others and provide balanced perspective, Taylor works to create a sense of stability for families navigating the court system. Her ability to connect with others—especially children—allows her to build trust, reduce conflict, and foster meaningful outcomes during emotionally complex proceedings.

Taylor is a member of the South Carolina Bar. She earned her Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas, where she was actively involved in the Family Justice and Immigration Clinic, served in the Washburn Bar Student Government, and mentored incoming law students. Prior to her legal career, Taylor worked in Human Resources where she developed strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills—strengths that continue to shape her thoughtful, client-centered approach to legal practice.

Originally from Southern Indiana, Taylor now calls the Upstate of South Carolina home. Outside of her legal practice, she spends time with her fiancé, Mark, and their Goldendoodle, Archie, in pursuit of adventure. From traveling and hiking to dirt bike riding, trying new restaurants, and exploring local music, Taylor values opportunities to connect with others and try new things.
